Kia ora bloggers, Today at school we were doing a task off the summer learning journey, todays task was to colour in a NASA picture on Art colouring book. I chose to do a satellite, did you know when the first satellite was blasted into space? it was 31 January 1958, Have you ever done a summer learning journey before? It was very fun.
Kia Ora bloggers, for inquiry we are making products to solve a problem, our problem was losing our teddies so we created a teddy sleeping bag that hangs on the wall. Kia Ora bloggers, today for cyber-smart we made things on scratch, we could ether make an game/animation about our inquiry or make a game for your siblings and lastly you could make a animation (on scratch) on a book you've read or a movie you've watched, I chose to do a game for my sister. This week we have been doing our speeches, First we read our speech to the class then the top 3 from every home base read it to the hub, and I was one of them, It had to be 2 - 3 minuets. Kia Ora Bloggers, for inquiry we chose our topic, we did it through google form, it was out of Kiwi Innovators and Horrible Histories. Kiwi Innovators got the most votes, we had to make a copy of a slide then read the article, once we had read the text we had to fill in the answers, it had a create with it to, one of the creates was make your own yogurt brand, name and packaging. It's a work in progress!
Kia Ora Bloggers, We Have Been learning about Cultural Diversity this week, On Friday we have to dress up in our Cultural clothing, Im am British and Maori, so i'm dressing up in a blue tu tu, a white t shirt, My Ponamo and I'm Bringing a poi with me. Kia Ora Bloggers, in lockdown we did zoom calls and online learning. We did some experiments, one of them was you put cut up apple in cups of vinagar, salt water lemon juice and one a control (control is where it has nothing to keep it fresh) Have you ever done a apple experiment? Kia Ora, In lock down, we had to do our work from home, our teachers made google meets/zoom meetings for us to meet on. We did literacy and maths, on Fridays we don't do maths but we still do literacy. Our literacy is fun though. Our teacher Miss Smith explains everything we have to do, sometimes we get to play a game. The first thing we have to do is a free write (it is on a certain picture). At the moment we are focusing on personification, (personification is where you compare something to a human, e.g The flowers danced in the wind). Do you ever do a free write at school?
Kia ora bloggers, This week I am going to tell you how to feed lambs!
The first step you have to do is buy some milk power, lamb bottles and teats. Teats are the things that lambs get milk from there mum but the ones you buy are rubber (you can get these from farm source). Here is a chart for feeding... when I got one of my lambs it wasn't even a day old. When you make the milk you have to figure out how many mls you need. You put the powder in a bowl and then add water so it is liquid. Mix well with a whisk, (until smooth) and then pour how much milk you need in each bottle. Our lambs have 350mls, 4 times a day.

Hi bloggers, We stated winter sport for this year, Each week at 11:30 we leave and catch the bus to Rawhiti sport ground. We get to play 1-2 games. I chose Hockey, in hockey we get to play 2 games, we won our first game 9-0 and lost our second game 4-0. Do you do Winter sport and if you do what sport do you play?
