Little lambs

Kia ora bloggers, This week I am going to tell you how to feed lambs!

The first step you have to do is buy some milk power, lamb bottles and teats. Teats are the things that lambs get milk from there mum but the ones you buy are rubber (you can get these from farm source). Here is a chart for feeding...   when I got one of my lambs it wasn't even a day old. When you make the milk you have to figure out how many mls  you need. You put the powder in a bowl and then add water so it is liquid. Mix well with a whisk, (until smooth) and then pour how much milk you need in each bottle. Our lambs have 350mls, 4 times a day.

Here are some photos of my lambs

My one day old lamb (well now 3 or 4 days old)
She is tiny compered to the other lambs. She has 3 other brothers and sisters.

  1. Hi Grace it is me Kayla I am a year 7 in toroa. How is lock down going? what are you doing? If these are your lams they are so cute. My nana has some lambs and when ever we go up there we get to feed them. I really like how you have told us when to feed them and what equipment you need, and on top of that you have posted some pictures of lambs. By Grace have a great rest of your locked down.
